FL Studio can save and open .zip format files. Zip is a lossless compression format designed to shrink the size of saved files.
Problem:
This message is shown when you try to open a .zip file that doesn't contain a FL Studio project file (*.flp).
FL Studio can export a project to a zip file using the File > Export > 'Zipped loop package' menu option. This saves the .flp file and any samples used by the project. To open this again, the .flp file has to be in the zip file.
If you see this message you are probably trying to load a .zip file not saved from FL Studio.
Solution:
If you know the file contains samples that you want to use in FL studio, then unzip them to a regular folder (using a zip program) and drag and drop the samples on the Playlist or Channels as usual.
Save your project to .zip format from FL Studio and you will now have a valid .zip project.
Who makes zip programs?
